Tampa deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico is consistent as always. Lots of grunts, a few mangrove snapper showing up, and grouper mixed in a few black, more reds than blacks. Bay fishing has been hot as we are into the fall transition. Speckled trout start biting good, Redfish will be thick on the flats soon, and Snook are fattening up before they head into the backcountry. This time last year Bonita, Mackerel, and Sharks were all over the place. We expect a great October with good numbers of catches.
We have multiple captains readily available to accommodate for any and every party.
Writing this in a hurry as we are getting up early, running double header charter days, and cleaning the boats just before bedtime.
Our captains are reporting good numbers of Red Grouper and Key west grunts on this weeks charters. Fishing the Gulf of Mexico, our boats depart from the beautiful Fort Desoto Park, FL; a monument in the fishing world, and a landmark of the Spanish American war. Tampa Bay Fishing Charters Tarpon are showing up, Snook are biting, Mackerel and some Bonita are in the mix. Call for more info. -Capt Jesse 727.253.9913
Had a Tampa deep sea fishing charter recently… got some cell phone footage!
Our Tampa deep sea fishing charters are an absolute blast. You never know when a giant school of Sharks will come swimming over the reef! These 4ft size schooling sharks are tons of fun and sometimes provide a 2-3 hour consistent bite of non stop action. The best day I had this summer on a targeted shark fishing charter, we caught 70 in 4 hours. We never had to leave the inlet…
Mike from TN caught 20 sharks to 5 feet in length this day.
There’s nothing that compares to deep sea fishing Tampa, FL!

Here’s a giant nurse shark from last week. Somewhere in the 200lb range.
